The number of Moroccans who visited Israel last year increased “slightly” compared to 2021, indicates the “Israel speaks Arabic” page of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The same source reposted a post from another page, “Moroccans with the resumption of relations with Israel” which claimed that the number of Moroccans who traveled to the Jewish state reached 3,500, until November 2022.
The same source explained that most of these Moroccans were “businessmen, students and pilgrims, as part of the resumption of direct flights to various Israeli cities, with a frequency of four weekly flights. She pointed out that Al Quds remains the most attractive tourist and spiritual destination for Moroccans, followed by Tel Aviv.
The “Israel speaks Arabic” page also recalled that the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has set up a site to respond to requests from Moroccans wishing to visit Israel.
