British advisory body Skytrax, which specializes in flight condition research for airlines, has published its annual ranking of the top 100 airlines after a year of absence. For the 2021 ranking, Royal air Maroc (RAM) is ranked 81st in the world, after ranking 92nd in 2019. Despite its efforts, RAM did not obtain the Covid-19 Award of Excellence awarded to 41 airlines.
RAM is rated 4 out of 5 stars by Skytrax for the quality of its airports, services, and ground and cabin personnel.
On behalf of the African continent, RAM is fourth behind Ethiopian Airlines, South African Airways and Kenya Airways, ranked respectively 37th, 67th and 79th worldwide. However, for regional flights, Morocco takes first place in the African ranking ahead of RwandAir and Tunisair. Also for the African continent, Morocco finds itself at the foot of the podium in terms of the best personnel, finding itself fourth behind RwandAir, Ethiopian Airlines and South African Airways.
For the general classification, Qatar airways took first place for the second consecutive year and the sixth time in the history of the classification created in 2001. In second and third place, we find Singapore Airlines (first in 2018) and All Nippon Airways which secured 3rd place for three consecutive years.
