Royal Air Maroc (RAM) will launch from December 12 an airline connecting Casablanca to Tel Aviv. Three flights per week will be operated initially.
After Israeli airlines, it is RAM’s turn to announce direct flights to Israel. In a statement, the Moroccan company said that this new link meets the expectations of the Moroccan community established in Israel which has strong links with its country of origin.
Thus, RAM will operate three flights per week to Israel, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 11:55 pm for an arrival the next morning in Tel Aviv. Return flights are scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The pace will be accelerated in a second stage and will increase to five weekly flights between Casablanca and Tel Aviv.
Tickets for these flights are on sale on the company’s website and from travel agencies. For the launch of the line, the price of a Casablanca – Tel Aviv ticket is offered from 3,400 Moroccan dirhams in economy class.
Morocco hopes to attract Israeli tourists to revive a tourism sector damaged by the Covid-19 pandemic and the various health restrictions.
