The airline Qatar Airways announced on Monday the resumption of its flights to Casablanca and Marrakech, from June 30, adding that with the start of the summer season this year, it will operate four weekly flights to and from the airports of both cities.
In a statement, Qatar Airways said it will operate four flights per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday), on Boeing-787s, which accommodate 254 passengers in total, including 22 seats in business class and 232 seats in economy class.

With the addition of Casablanca and Marrakech to the Qatar Airways flight network, passengers can enjoy distinguished and smooth travel to more than 165 destinations worldwide from Hamad International Airport,” the Qatari company stressed, affirming its commitment to facilitate the arrival of travelers in Morocco through the resumption of its flights to the two cities, which enhances travel experiences, enriches the cultural exchange between peoples and promotes the facilities offered to customers.

Qatar Airways will operate flights to Marrakech seasonally until September 11, 2023, the statement said, noting that passengers can travel to Casablanca via Doha by booking daily on the common code system, flights operated by Royal Air Maroc.

The resumption of Qatar Airways flights to Casablanca and Marrakech confirms the commitment “to the Moroccan market and to meet the growing demand for travel to the two beautiful and historic cities,” said the chairman of the Qatar Airways group, Akbar Al Baker, quoted in the statement, pointing out that the 2022 World Cup has brought together supporters of Qatar and Morocco which has helped strengthen cultural and economic relations between the two brotherly countries through the airline’s flights.

We remain committed to providing a five-star and exceptional travel experience to around 165 destinations worldwide, and we will continue our work to grow and expand our network,” he said.
