Morocco is in the top 5 destinations that are a hit at Marseille Provence Airport (AMP). The latter has recovered 90% of its 2019 traffic by the end of 2022.

With 660,000 passengers, Morocco has climbed to 2ᵉ place in the top 5 destinations with the highest flows at Marseille Provence Airport. The kingdom is ahead of Spain (nearly 900,000 passengers). Great Britain (557,735 passengers) occupies the 3ᵉ position. Italy (505,000 passengers) and Germany (474,000 passengers) close the podium.

For 2022, Marseille Provence Airport (AMP) has announced 9,148,306 passengers (10% vs. 2019 / + 96% vs. 2021). Philippe Bernand, chairman of the board of AMP, was pleased with the performance recorded. “Marseille Airport has recovered 90% of its 2019 traffic by the end of 2022, as well as all of its destinations. This allows it to resolutely embark on the road to decarbonization with substantial investments in energy production, accessibility of the platform by public transport and the ramp-up of sustainable fuels.”
