Morocco to win back French tourists

-

The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) and Moroccan professionals are taking part in the 42nd edition of the International Trade Fair for Tourism Professionals “IFTM Top Résa”, a meeting which takes place from October 5 to 8 in Paris. Objective: to reconquer the French market.

Accustomed to the “Top Resa” show since its inception, Morocco is still present to promote its precious wealth: tourism. Participation in this 2021 edition is part of the vast recovery plan for the tourism sector at half mast due to the Covid-19 crisis.

For its offensive campaign, which began a few months ago, the ONMT has highlighted the diversity of the tourist offer, and intends to identify new avenues of French partnerships for the influence of the destination Morocco on an international scale. The French market being the first source market for the Kingdom.

Clearly, the exhibitors want to reassure French professionals and above all maintain contact with airlines and travel advisers in order to guarantee a rapid and lasting recovery after the Covid-19.

On this occasion, a Moroccan stand was set up by the ONMT at the entrance to the tour operator village and features various operators from all regions. “Fundamental work has been carried out by the ONMT with all of its French partners, resulting in action plans that we have activated at the first signs of the recovery. We are comforted in our approach by all the positive feedback received by the destination and the Moroccan operators, “said Adel El Fakir, Director General of ONMT.
