Morocco in the top 10 of the most booked destinations

-

Morocco is in the top 10 of the most booked destinations in February 2022 by the French. This is what emerges from the ranking of a specialized site.

According to Barometer Orchestra, produced for L’Écho touristique, reservations in February 2022 are up 6% compared to 2019, for all destinations combined. This increase is justified by a more favorable health situation and the gradual lifting of all restrictions in France. But the war in Ukraine could undermine this trend.

Morocco (+7%) occupies 6ᵉ place in the top 20 most booked destinations in February 2022. Spain (+74%) tops this ranking. It is followed by mainland France (+10%), Greece (+21%), the Dominican Republic (+65%) and Tunisia (−29%). Italy (−22%) is in 7th place. Next come Egypt (+6%), Portugal (−13%), Mauritius (+12%), the United Arab Emirates (+109%), Mexico (+46%), the United (−3%), Tanzania (+276%), Turkey (−2%) and the Maldives (+44%). Martinique (+39%), Croatia (−39%), Guadeloupe (+20%) and Malta (−27%) close out the podium.
