The Moroccan palace La Mamounia and the design and architecture firm Jouin Manku were awarded the Ahead Prize in Dubai. This award recognizes the most beautiful projects of hotels, restaurants and bars around the world by their architecture and decoration.
Expressing his joy, Pierre Jochem, General Manager of the luxury palace in Marrakech, said that this distinction is a source of pride for Morocco.
He added: “We are very proud and happy of this appointment, which reinforces our belief that our architectural choices and design biases with Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku in the renovation of La Mamounia, were the right ones.
In the Restaurant category, “The Asian by Jean-Georges” was awarded; just as in the Bar, Club, Lounge category, “Le Bar Churchill” was also awarded.
