Emirates has announced its intention to replace the Boeing 777-300ERs with A380s (Airbus) from April 15 to operate flights between Dubai and Casablanca.
According to the Emirati company, this decision comes to meet the growing demand for these flights and to ensure more comfort to its customers.
It is also for the Emirates to accompany the boom in the tourism sector after the crisis caused by the pandemic.
As a result, Casablanca will join the destinations served by Emirates by A380 in Africa, namely Cairo and Johannesburg.
The Emirates are a long-standing ally of Morocco and strong ties have been forged between the two countries’ monarchies. They are expected to strengthen these relations in a more global framework after the signing of the Abraham Accords.
