Egypt has taken new measures to facilitate the entry of Moroccan tourists and those from other countries such as Turkey and Algeria.
Egypt intends to offer tourists a five-year multiple-entry visa and add more nationalities to the visa eligibility upon arrival in its territory. A multiple-entry visa will soon be launched at a price of US$700…[while] more than 180 nationalities will be able to obtain a 30-day single-entry visa on arrival for $25,” said Ahmed Eissa, Egypt’s minister of tourism, though he did not provide further details on eligible visitors.
Turkish tourists will be able to obtain an entry-on-arrival visa without age restrictions. But those under 16 years and those over 60 years will be able to obtain an electronic entry visa for Egypt on the E-Visa platform. The same possibility is offered to Algerian and Moroccan nationals. However, they must be part of a group.
