Used cars: NARSA digitizes the transfer of vehicle registration documents

-

The National Road Safety Agency (NARSA) announces the digitization of the used car registration transfer operation. As of January 17, 2023, the agency is launching a new online platform dedicated to this service.

This new online service initiated by NARSA comes to facilitate the process of selling and buying used cars registered in Morocco in a secure and smooth way, while guaranteeing the rights of the seller and the buyer.

The new portal allows to proceed to the transfer operations in full transparency. On the seller’s side, the latter has no link with the vehicle sold from the date of declaration of the sale and can therefore not receive any traffic accident violations that may subsequently occur. As for the buyer, the service allows him to verify that his newly purchased vehicle is not subject to any opposition.

The online procedure also shortens the processing time of vehicle transfers, which would allow the buyer to obtain his vehicle registration card as soon as possible.
