Tangier: an international meeting on the medical and industrial use of cannabis

The Moroccan Consultative Association for the Use of Cannabis is organizing, from October 22 to 24, in Tangier, the 1st International Conference on the Therapeutic and Industrial Potentials of Cannabis in Morocco.

Placed under the aegis of the Ministry of Health, this meeting is part of the continuation of the reflections carried out by Morocco with a view to making this sector a profitable sector for the benefit of science but also of the economy. by bringing the producers out of hiding.

At this conference, several researchers, scientists, doctors and industrialists, Moroccans and foreigners, will be tasked with analyzing the therapeutic potential and industrial uses of hemp, following the adoption of Law No. 13.21 on the legal uses of cannabis.

As a reminder, from May 21 to 23, the same organizers organized the 1st Moroccan Congress on the use of cannabis derivatives. A platform that made it possible to discuss and demonstrate the socio-economic impact of the use of cannabis and its derivatives in Morocco. Several discussion panels made it possible to make recommendations at the end of this congress.
