Morocco is participating in the 70th edition of the Miss Universe competition, scheduled for Israel. A historic return for the kingdom whose last participation dates back to 1980.
“The Kingdom of Morocco is back with grace. A young Moroccan woman will be elected ambassador to represent Morocco at Miss Universe. An event that celebrates women around the world, giving them the opportunity to share their culture and their origins. The competition will take place in Haifa on December 12, with the participation of 75 competitors from different countries of the world. The selected Miss will win the crown in a national competition, “which honors Moroccan women for their beauty and intelligence,” according to the same source. The winner of Miss Universe Morocco will carry the voice of her country and her people, and will have to embody the beauty of peace, be the reflection of the essential values that characterize Morocco.
