On occasion, it was decided to cap the prices of the various PCR tests. “The majority of laboratories have expressed their desire to lower these prices set in the past by the Ministry of Health,” said Adnane Ghazali, president of the Union Chamber of Biologists.
The move will come into effect following meetings between the Minister of Economy and Finance and test importers next week. New rates will be set. Thus, the prices of PCR tests will rise from 700 DH to 400 DH, while the prices of antigenic tests will drop to 200 DH and those of serological tests to 120 dirhams, details Adnane Ghazali. As for the prices of rapid tests, they will be set at 600 DH. A ministerial decree will set these new tariffs which will be adopted in the next few days.
