Launch of the Association for the Protection and Promotion of Moroccan Heritage (A3PM)

-

It is part of the dynamics of our country, inspired by HM the King in terms of the protection of national heritage and the fight against any spoliation or cultural appropriation.

During this meeting, the executive office set up an action plan and an annual action program for the year 2023 with the main objectives of:

– Contribute to raising awareness of public opinion on Moroccan cultural heritage;

– Contribute to the training of young people on this issue and on the challenges of its protection;

– Alert public opinion to any attempt to spoliate or appropriate one of the elements of this heritage;

– Promote Moroccan culture on a continental and international scale…

This annual action plan will be launched through the organization of a conference under the theme of “Citizenship and Moroccan cultural heritage”, on Monday February 6, 2023, at the Bahnini room in Rabat.

This conference, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication (Department of Culture), will take place in the presence of Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, and Youssef Khiara, director of cultural heritage within the ministry, as well as several national actors of Moroccan cultural heritage.

The executive office of the A3PM is made up of young activists active in the field of associations, committed to issues related to Moroccan identity and culture and concerned with the safeguarding and enhancement of national heritage.
