Internet: more than 31 million subscribers in Morocco

The number of Internet subscribers in Morocco stood in the first half of this year at 31.3 million, up 15.1%.

According to the Department of Studies and Financial Forecasts (DEPF), the global telephone fleet, drained by the boom in e-commerce, teleworking and distance training and imposed by the Covid-19, has considerably increase.

In its recent memo, DEPF said the number of Internet subscribers stood at 31.3 million with a growth rate of 15.1%.

The mobile Internet fleet shows annual growth of 8.2% with 49.2 million subscribers at the end of June 2021.

As for the fixed fleet, it increased by 8.3% to 2.4 million subscribers during the same period, notes the same source.
