Moroccans have assessed their level of satisfaction with banks operating in the territory and which stand out for their services and offers. What were the results of this study and which are the best in 2021? Here are the details.
Large banks which are rated by their customers in a new study initiated by Sunergia, on the notoriety of the most famous banking establishments in Morocco in 2021.
In this little game, three banking groups stood out, each according to age categories. These are the Banque Populaire (BP), Attijariwafa Bank and CIH Bank, which occupy the first three places in the choice of Moroccans.
In detail, the Banque Populaire (BP) is cited more by men (40%), the elderly (77%), the inhabitants of the North-East (39%), the rural people (38%), the household (41%), skilled workers (55%) and unskilled (61%), retirees (70%), uneducated people (54%). 35% of Moroccans cited the Banque Populaire as the first bank that comes to mind. In addition, the bank is cited more by people aged 65 and over (77%) and retirees (70%).
Regarding Attijariwafa Bank, it is preferred by 25-34 year-olds (31%) and 45-54 year-olds (38%), inhabitants of the southern region (30%) and people with little education (primary (33%) and college (31%)). It is the bank close to entrepreneurs and the study specifies that one in 2 entrepreneurs is aged 45 and over (49.6%), 4 in 10 are aged 30 to 44 (39.9%) so that the tenth are under 29 years old (10.5%), and that 69.5% of entrepreneurs do not have any diploma.
As for CIH bank, it is the bank for young people according to Sunergia. Very popular with young people aged between 18 and 24 (24%), single people (21%), inhabitants of the center of the kingdom (21%), students (30%) and people with a Bac + 2 university degree ( 22%).
The rest of the ranking is occupied by BMCE in 4th position not far from CIH with 9% of citations, followed by Al Barid Bank (8%), Crédit du Maroc (3%), Crédit Agricole, BMCI and Société Générale which are at 2% each and at the last CFG position (1%).
