Forest fires: Morocco will receive a new Canadair plane

Morocco will soon receive a new Canadair CL-415EAF CN-ATS C/N:1095 aircraft to help fight forest fires.
The FAR-Morocco Forum shared photos of the plane from Calgary, Canada, on its Facebook page, informing that the plane is the second of three CL-415EAF aircraft acquired by Morocco to strengthen its firefighting fleet.

The same source reported that the first aircraft, the CL-415EAF CN-ATR C/N:1090, is currently undergoing improvements to its cockpit and navigation systems at Cascade Aerospace in Abbotsford Airport, Canada, to obtain certificates and approvals for the new development process using technology that will then be extended to the rest of the fleet.

The third aircraft, the CL-415EAF CN-ATT, is currently undergoing airframe and engine development at De Havilland Canada’s Calgary facility.
