With a top speed of 320 km / h, on a dedicated 186 km line between Tangier and Kenitra, the TGV inaugurated in November 2018, has thus carved out a place of choice among the fastest trains in the world.

At the top of the rankings is the Chinese ultra-fast at 460 km / h, using so-called Maglev magnetic levitation technology, and connecting Shanghai Pudong Airport to Longyang Road Station in the city center. Second place also goes to the Chinese “CR400” with 350 km / h.
In third place is the ICE3, the German TGV at 330 km / h, followed by the French high-speed train at 320 km / h, which connects several European cities.
Fifth place in the ranking goes to the Japanese TGV “JR Est E5” which travels at a speed of 320 km / h.
