The organizers of this cultural event, one of the oldest and most popular in Casablanca and founded by the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences Ben M’sik of the University Hassan II have also decided to call this edition “Corps en immersion-Focus Québec.
For those who do not know, the FIAV was created in 1993 by the Foundation of Art and Culture of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences Ben M’sik in partnership with the instants videos de Manosque (currently based in Marseille ). The project leaders are Abdelkader Gonegai, Dean of the Faculty, President of the festival and Majid Seddati, artistic director of the festival.
As specified in the press release released this Wednesday, November 3, 2021, the FIAV is a multidisciplinary event and a digital creation platform that has recorded, since its creation in 1993, thousands of videos shown, hundreds of performances, hundreds of installations. , hundreds of Workshops and Master Classes, around thirty Colloquiums and Conferences as well as the participation of hundreds of internationally renowned artists for the benefit of Moroccan youth.
Like previous editions, the festival will focus on 3 main areas including artistic, educational and scientific aspects. Creations, installations, dance and digital art, master classes and workshops led by professional artists are on the menu.
The FIAV will invest several cultural spaces including the French Institute of Casablanca, the Studio des Arts Vivants, the Moulay Rachid complex and the Cervantes Institute.
