Brand Finance’s “Global Soft Power Index 2023”: Morocco leads Maghreb countries

-

Morocco leads the Maghreb countries in the ranking of “Global Soft Power Index 2023″ published recently by the British consulting firm Brand Finance.

According to the ranking of Brand Finance, “the Kingdom holds a very advanced position among the influential countries in terms of cultural heritage,” said the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication.

Thus, the Kingdom “has risen to first place in the Maghreb and 36th internationally, among the countries influential in their cultural heritage, marking a significant advance of 16 points compared to last year, “adds the same source.

This ranking is based on field surveys and interviews conducted by experts of the international firm, which publishes the Global Soft Power Index based on a survey and a sample of more than 100,000 respondents in more than 100 markets around the world.

Countries were ranked on the basis of performance indicators covering seven pillars: trade and business, governance, international relations, cultural heritage, media and communication, education and science, and people and values.
