“African Lion” is the name of this entirely Moroccan armored truck. It is a multi-mission vehicle, an MMV 4×4, intended for the armed forces. We do not yet know all the details of this vehicle, but according to some sources, it is a “huge and impressive vehicle”. It is known that it is produced by FAR Group.
It is, moreover, Youssef Mandour, the boss of the company who has just made this announcement. It is the first Moroccan company specialized in the defense industry.
FAR Group, remember, is an American consortium that recently launched a Moroccan subsidiary based in Tangier. It was established in 2018 by the same Youssef Mandour, an MRE graduate of the American Military University who made his arms in the US Army, before serving in several other strategic positions in the US military administration.
