The Arab League adopts the map of Morocco integrating the Sahara

-

After the United States and several other countries or institutions, it is the turn of the Arab League to adopt the map of Morocco integrating the Sahara. In a note addressed to its organs and organizations, it recommended its adoption in all events.

According to Arab diplomatic sources, the Arab League has, in a note, recommended to all its organs and organizations the adoption of a map of Morocco integrating Morocco and demanded full respect for its content, reports MAP. She accompanied this note with a complete map of the Arab world, including a map of Morocco that includes the southern provinces of the kingdom.

This decision comes following a protest expressed recently by the Algerian delegation within the League against the publication of the complete map of Morocco in one of the events organized by the Organization of Arab Women in Cairo, and by the director. General of Algerian Customs, Noureddine Khaldi and members of his delegation at a Customs meeting in the MENA region, during which Morocco’s full map of Morocco was used.

As a reminder, during the last ministerial meeting of Arab ministers of habitat, held in Amman, Jordan, stakeholders called for the need to respect the geography and sovereignty of states. The meeting also called for ensuring in all events organized by bodies, federations and organizations affiliated with the Council of Arab Housing Ministers, to publish the complete and undivided map of the Arab world.
