The Spanish Constitutional Court has confirmed the rejection by the electoral commission of the community of Madrid on May 2 of the candidacy of Tesh Sidi, a member of the Polisario, in the May 28 elections.
The 29-year-old woman was ranked 11th on the list presented for the local elections by the Mas Madrid party, a split from Podemos. Nevertheless, in its investigations, the electoral commission in the Spanish capital was able to confirm that Tesh is registered in three cities: Malaga, Madrid and Bilbao.

In total disagreement with the decision of the aforementioned commission, the Mas Madrid formation has presented an appeal before the constitutional court. A step that ended in a new failure.
Tesh Sidi arrived with her brother in Spain in 2003, as part of “Holidays for Peace. A program that allows Spanish families to host and adopt Sahrawi children from the Tindouf camps. She was then able to take the Spanish nationality.
