MEP Dominique Bilde, member of the National Gathering, published on Friday, on her party’s website, a press release in which she regrets the decision of the General Court of the European Union on the tariff and fishing preferences agreements with Morocco , whose cancellation grants, according to her, a “satisfaction to the Polisario Front.
Recalling that the recognition of the Moroccan character of the Sahara by the United States should lead to a gradual easing of tensions, it raises the question of “the future of European humanitarian aid granted to the Sahrawi refugee camps of Tindouf” which are, adds- she, “de facto placed under the leadership of the Polisario Front”.
Highlighting existing suspicions of embezzlement, she points to the inaction of European bodies that she has “long called upon” on the issue. More broadly, Dominique Bilde also raises the question of links “at least indirect between the Polisario Front and jihadist groups”.
