Bahrain announces its intention to open a consulate in Laâyoune

And a new country that will be added to the long list of states that have opened diplomatic representations in the southern provinces, clearly confirming their position regarding Moroccan sovereignty over its Sahara.

The President of the Bahraini Council of Representatives, Ahmed Salman Al Musallam, reiterated his country’s position supporting and supporting the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco over its southern provinces, as well as its security and stability. During an audience granted this Sunday, January 8, to Mr. Khalid bin Salman Al Musallam, Ambassador of Bahrain to Morocco, the President of the Council of Representatives underlined the intention of his country to open a consulate in the city of Laayoune, as reported by the Bahrain News Agency.

He also highlighted the depth and solidity of the fraternal relations linking the two Kingdoms, emphasizing the common desire to consolidate the process of bilateral cooperation as a whole, particularly in the parliamentary and economic fields, and to open up broader prospects. “in the service of the interests of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples”.

The distinguished relations and multiple partnerships uniting the two brotherly countries have been strengthened and developed further under the wisdom led by the Sovereigns of the two countries, His Majesty King Hamad Ben Issa Al Khalifa and His brother His Majesty King Mohammed VI, said said Mr. Ahmed Salman Al Musallam.

He also hailed the efforts of Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Council of Ministers, on the path to strengthening bilateral cooperation in the various areas and sectors of development and for the pursuit of cooperation and coordination in the service of the common interests of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
