Morocco launches its national investment brand at Expo 2020 Dubai: Morocco Now

Morocco has just officially launched, alongside its participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, its investment and export brand: Morocco Now. During the press conference, held for this purpose, on October 10, 2021, Imad Barrakad, CEO of the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Tourism (SMIT), on behalf of Nadia Fettah Alaoui, Commissioner General of the Morocco Pavilion, did not fail to stress the importance of this inaugural event of the Kingdom’s participation in the 2020 Dubai World Expo.

Accompanied by Youssef El Bari, Director General of the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investment and Export (AMDIE), the two Moroccan officials recalled that the objective of this initiative is none other than to “promote Morocco as a leading industrial and exporting platform in order to accelerate foreign investments ”.

The launch of the Morocco Now brand internationally by AMDIE on Sunday, October 10, also marks the launch of the week dedicated to investing in Morocco.

Thus, during the Conference “Morocco, A Global Investment Hub Week”, carried respectively by AMDIE, the General Commission of the Morocco pavilion and the CGEM, Chakib Alj, president of the Moroccan employers, did not fail in his turn. , to insist on the purpose of this new identity: Morocco Now, which is none other than to offer investors a new low-carbon and competitive investment platform.

All within the framework of a Morocco that continues to present its potential and highlight its international attractiveness as a global hub for investing. Recall that this week, which runs from October 10 to 16, 2021, covers a whole program of scientific and business events that will highlight a modern and connected Morocco, and enhance the investment opportunities of the Kingdom as well as its dynamic of economic and human development, sustainable and inclusive for future generations.
