The 2nd edition of “Boost with Facebook” was launched on Wednesday, by the company Meta (formerly Facebook), in collaboration with the Digital Development Agency (ADD), with a view to strengthening the capacities of Moroccan companies in digital matters. .
For this edition, the program plans to support 2,000 Moroccan small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through various avenues of learning through virtual sessions in French and Arabic. The modules are designed to help SMEs tackle the business challenges caused by the pandemic and strengthen their online presence, the organizers said in a statement.
To do this, LaStartupFactory will work closely with ADD to amplify training across Morocco, as well as across key sectors and communities as part of its mission to promote technology and innovation in the country.
As a reminder, last year “the program trained more than 1,700 SMEs in eight Moroccan cities, in the regions of Casablanca-Settat, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Dakhla and Souss-Massa,” it says. Thanks to this program, 80% of participating SMEs were able to strengthen their marketing tactics and establish a strong presence on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger.
