These transfers thus show an increase of 45.6%.
The indicators also show a decline in the surplus of the balance of trade in services from 18.3% to 30.13 billion dirhams. This situation follows a drop in exports combined with an increase in imports.
Also, travel, which is the main component of trade in services in Morocco, posted a surplus balance down 51.9%. This development is mainly attributable to the drop in travel receipts of 42.8%, standing at 13.04 billion dirhams at the end of July 2021, while travel expenses fell by 18%.
