After several weeks of suspension, Canada is once again authorizing direct flights from Morocco. These flights will resume on October 29.
Good news for Canadians and MRE stranded in Morocco following the suspension of direct commercial and private passenger flights from the kingdom. On the recommendation of the Public Health Agency of Canada, Transport Canada has just lifted this suspension. Thus, fully vaccinated travelers and unvaccinated travelers will be able to take direct flights from Morocco to Canada as of October 29, reports Radio Canada. But they must respect certain sanitary measures.
Based on the most recent public health advisory from the Public Health Agency of Canada, Transport Canada issued an Airmen Advisory (NOTAM) to restrict all direct flights by commercial and private passengers to Canada from Morocco from August 29, 2021 until September 29, 2021. All direct commercial and private passenger flights to Canada from Morocco are NOTAM. This suspension, which was recently extended until October 29, 2021, has just been lifted.
