A Moroccan at the head of Boeing’s supply chain

Boeing announced several leadership changes to its leadership team to increase stability and predictability in its supply chain and production sites, while continuing to develop new leaders.

Ihssane Mounir, senior vice president of sales and marketing, has been named senior vice president, global supply chain for Boeing.

“Boeing’s internal and external supply chains are consolidated under Ihssane’s leadership to integrate procurement strategies, deliverables and specifications used across Boeing Commercial Aviation Division programs ( BCA)”, underlines a press release from the American manufacturer.

In addition, continues the same source, Peter Johnson is appointed to the position of vice-president and general manager of the Manufacturing division. Peter Johnson and Brian Baird, vice-president in charge of the Boeing Commercial Aviation supplier chain, will report to Ihssane Mounir, it says.

Brad McMullen, current vice president of sales for Boeing Commercial Aviation North America, will succeed Ihssane as senior vice president of sales and marketing.

These assignments will take effect in the coming weeks.
